If someone held a gun to my head and demanded I declare myself by what I do, I know I would blurt out "DANCER! I'm a dancer."
I struggle with pinning down labels for myself and my work. I love to learn and explore so words feel too limiting.
When my soul wants to express itself, I dance with total abandon. It has been that way for as long as I can remember—at least since I was dancing on stage in a school show in kindergarten. It will be that way until I die, no matter how limited my mobility may become.
I believe that human beings have the tools they need to heal and express who they authentically are, we heal our relationship to what we are capable of manifesting and open to seeing possibility in how we can serve the healing of Mother Earth.

I am entering a new chapter in my life, thanks to Divine Will.

Movement has the same power to create shifts in how we know and relate to ourselves. When we take the time to explore movement, we learn to see the influence our emotional and mental state has on our body and vice versa. Our body tells our story through shapes and patterns.
Getting to know the body creates the greatest opportunity for change. The way to get to know the body is to let it move how it likes, then pay attention to the sensations, thoughts, feelings, and memories that come up. Forcing the body to obey a strict pattern of movement can create more tension. Letting the body feel what it feels and express it is a way of telling ourselves, "I see you. I hear you. I feel you.
